So anytime a child says his teacher hit him, the teacher should be fired? What about innocent until proven guilty? Remember the Salem Witch Trials? Several people were hanged as witches because several children lied and said they were being "tormented" by the alleged witches. That's why we have due process in this country now. And, yes, children do lie about things. I'm not saying that this child lied, because I don't know any details of this particular case, but there needs to be some kind of evidence as opposed to just the word of someone.
