the child were "hit up along side the head" and kicked, there should have been some marks. It would seem a proper response by the Parent would have been to meet with the Teacher and Principal. Did he do that? There is no indication he did. But he did file a police report and he went to the media. Is he setting the stage for a lawsuit? "My little boy challenged her authority..." I guess in today's society a 9 year old has a better sense of right and wrong than a college educated teacher of many years tenure. No wonder we have problems in our society. Children are not dumb. They know how to manipulate. They know how to suqeeze their arms and create marks. I hope this parent keeps pushing. If the teacher is found to have erred, then pay the piper. But, if the child lied or used a creative imagination, then let the parent wear a sign stating "MY SON LIED ABOUT HIS TEACHER" That would seem fair.
