This is an awesome thing. I worked in a nursing home where a man went out a door between bed checks 11:00PM and 1:00AM and was lost for 3 days. When he was found, he didn't make it through the bitter winter's night. My heart sunk when I heard this story about the Wilmington man, I was grateful to know he was found. The older folks may lose their facilities but their are some that stay in tact such as opening doors and windows and even starting a car, they may not remember where to go but they can get going.
