RALEIGH -- The campaign finance investigation of State Rep. Thomas Wright continues. The State Board of Elections is pushing for a public hearing to gather more information about the Wilmington lawmaker's questionable campaign contributions. Investigators believe Wright received a number of contributions that are not recorded on his campaign finance reports. The public hearing is expected to take place by the end of the month.
