So with heart disease being in the top five in number of deaths per year. Are we really treating this the right way??? If you have diabetes you are not WELL, and you are more likely to have a cascade of health problems. Treatment, what we do not prescribe enough glucophage? If BCBS wants to lower sick care cost then they need to stop negotiating with the pharmaceutical industry. A little conflict of interest??. There is a lot of money in managing your health problem. Health care is not a right it is a RESPONSIBILTY. We have a responsibility to take care of those in traumatic sick care situations. We have NO responsibility for those that want to manage their problem. When insurance is paying for care or treatment? And when the pharmaceutical industry owns part of, if not all the insurance industry, hmmmmmm I am not a lawyer but I believe that is federal fraud with self referals. THINK people, start questioning the insurance you think you have for your "health benefit".
Concerned Rant.
Long term cost???
