US Attorney's Office charge five locals in mortgage fraud

The US Attorney's Office is charging five local people in connection to mortgage fraud. Daniel and Alford Rooks of Whiteville, Stanley Williams Jr. of Bolivia, Cynthia Greer of Clarendon, and Henry Blake Jr. of Riegelwood are charged with inventing a plan to defraud home buyers, banks, and other lenders to obtain money and property by false pretenses.
