It looked a lot like Christmas in Leland Saturday, as the town celebrated its 16th Annual Christmas Festival. The holiday spirit was kindled, beginning with a Christmas parade, floats, automobiles, and musical groups. The grand finale was of course, Santa Claus himself, riding on a Leland fire truck, accompanied by Mrs. Claus. The festival seemed to get almost everyone in the holiday mood. Kids said the best part was all the free candy and treats.
