Tamara Schlichter is waiting for the best gift of all. Many hope to unwrap a new toy, or gadget on Christmas morning, but at Wilmington International Airport, her holiday, will come a little early this year. Tamara Schlichter said, "I'm just looking forward to seeing him, and be able to hold him after this long." Tamara's husband Schuyler has been in Iraq for eight months. Just around the corner is the McCain family, also waiting for their holiday wish come true. Seeing their Dad home from Iraq in time for Christmas is better than anything Santa could bring. Christopher McCain says, "The perfect Christmas present is that he is actually arriving on time, and that we don't have to wait anymore days to for him to come home." Like a child on Christmas Eve, the anticipation is overwhelming. "I just hope security doesn't stop me running down the aisle, because it will happen," said Schlichter. Schuyler Schlichter is finally home. And just a few minutes later, Christopher McCain's Dad is home too. Both soldiers were in Iraq, spending endless days and nights away from their families. You just can't wrap gifts like this, unless they're arms around the ones you love.
