This white elephant may be BUILT with private funds, but as soon as the gate receipts don't meet the O&M budget, the city and county will be forking over wads of cash for this "essential" tourist attraction that few go to.
What a joke! The planes do touch-and-go's here. Yippee! That's a reason to build the museum here?
And WHAT a museum! Did you read the description? Photos and one of the old planes? Perhaps a new wing at the Air & Space Museum in Washington would be more appropriate?
Someone could propose a museum to Q-Tips and this county commission would throw their full support behind it.
