Add in child-proof locks that allow the customer to get in the cab, but the driver has to let the customer out.
The drivers should also carry Tasers.
If it was up to me, I'd give a medal to the driver who ran that worm over. It's absolutely perverse that the state tells us that they can't protect our property rights, but that we can't either.
