READ MORE:

If you were ever a member of Peak Fitness in Wilmington, you might have some money due. The state attorney general's office has gotten 300 complaints about the company over the past five years. A new agreement will require Peak Fitness to, among other things, give advance notice to gym members and the attorney general's office when a club will be closed, and provide pro-rated refunds when a club shuts down. Peak Fitness closed it's Wilmington gym about a year ago, and transferred its members to Gold's Gym. If you think Peak Fitness may owe you money, call 1-877-5-NO-SCAM or fill out a complain form at www.ncdoj.gov.
