I want PROOF from the writer of this article that the dogs that got dropped off are: 1. TRULY hunting dogs, not just of hunting dog BREED 2. They were dropped of by the ACTUAL OWNER and not someone who picked the dog up. Just because a blue tick or black and tan hits the pound doesn't mean it's a HUNTING DOG. NOW I am not saying that dogs don't get dropped off...but if the article said...HUNTERS KILL DOGS BECAUSE THEY CAN NO LONGER CARE FOR THEM..you guys would be FOAMING at the mouth...so which is it...put a bullet in their head or give them a chance at life?
