Some NC residents not prepared for digital switch

The switch to digital television may be over for us, but a new survey from Elon University shows some North Carolina residents remain unprepared for the national transition. Hundreds of people phoned a call center at Elon University on Thursday night, following the final digital test over the airwaves. The most common questions fielded by students had to do with getting converter box coupons. The second most asked question came from satellite and cable subscribers whose providers had not yet integrated digital signals in with their programming. The national transition to digital is scheduled for February 17.
