It should not cost so much to achieve justice via the death penalty. Administrative costs as well as the lengthy appeals process is what drives up these costs into the millions of dollars. This is done on purpose by anti-death penalty advocates to deter seeking the death penalty.
After conviction, one should be given 30 days to appeal. After that, inject the needle and good riddance!!!!!
