Many gathered to watch the inauguration in the auditorium at Brunswick Community College. Faculty spoke to the audience about presidential inaugurations in the past, and when the clock struck 12:00 noon, all eyes were on the stage to watch President Obama being sworn in. Marina Penna of Wilmington said, "I'm looking forward to watching them getting sworn in, both Obama and Biden, and I know I'm more than likely going to cry." People in the auditorium cheered right along with the crowds in D.C.
