As a graduate of the program I know how important it is for the students to get this training while at sea. If anything, this program needs more funding! The RV Dan Moore is a great vessel and it gets the job done, but new technology and equipment will only make those students more appealing to employers. In my personal opinion, I feel this program gets left out more so than others when it comes to funding at CFCC. This program is one of a kind, especially on the East Coast and that needs to be recognized. You will not meet a group of students more eager to learn than those students on that Ship.
