It's now easier than ever to find out if registered sex offenders live in your neighborhood. Attorney General Roy Cooper unveiled an update to North Carolina's online sex offender registry yesterday.

You can view maps that highlight how many registered sex offenders live withing one, three or five miles of a specific address. You can also sign up for e-mail alerts letting you know when a sex offender moves into a neighborhood or near a school.
