One of the great things about this country is our free elections. In addition, we have the right of free speech. As a result of both, we the voting public are ENTIRELY within our rights to both praise or criticize our elected officials. If you truly do know a few deputies, you should also know that all deputies serve at the will of the sheriff. Sheriff Causey can fire any of his deputies at any time, and because ours is a Right-to-Work state, he can fire them without even having to state a reason. Do you think perhaps that little fact might have something to do with the deputies not being overly critical and vocal about their disdain for him?
