I am a Viet nam combat veteran, who retired from law enforcement in Camden New Jersey. I also know how it feel to lose friends while they performed thier duties. In this case there is no right or wrong as public servants who have to hold ourselves to a higher standard than most. every thing e do either right or wrong is in the veiw of the public. I am soory that an officer dead while performing his dutiesand we all can say if this or that had not happen, but that is how it goes. We serve because we believe the things we do for others will make a difference and maybe someone will thank you.
