Wilmington Health Access for Teens is sponsoring its sixth annual Prom Dress Swap and Shop on Friday. Girls will be able to bring a dress to swap for another one, and if they do not have a dress to bring, it is only twenty dollars to buy one. Girls will also have the chance to visit with health vendors and pick up information about making healthy decisions on prom night. "Prom time, there's a lot of opportunities to engage in riskier behaviors and what we want to do is give them the information they need so they can lower their risk and try to minimize those risky situations," said WHAT Education Director, Geoff Zuckerman. Friday's event will be held at the First Baptist Church Activity Center on Independence Boulevard from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. You can drop dresses off at the Wilmington Health Access for Teens office on Oleander Drive through Friday morning.
