It is my understanding Adam and Eve were naked in the Garden of Eden until they sinned against God. They became shameful and covered themselves with fig leaves. (Gen.) God saw their shamefulness and provided them with animal skins. These skins were a better covering in the practical sense that they would not wilt like leaves. The use of animal skins was also designed to teach them that only God could provide an adequate covering for their sin and that covering of their sins required the shedding of blood. (Heb.) So, was the shamefulness caused because they were naked, or because they realized they had sinned? God's creation was good until Adam and Eve's fall into sin, then it became shameful. Americans and Christians have beliefs and opinions just like you have, maybe when it comes to certain things you might be too uptight too.
