I don't live on Wrightsville but I work there and people should know that the town has made great strides recently to be more welcoming. I believe most people do not comprehend how much $$$ the town devotes to making visitors safe and providing services at no charge other than the parking charges. Please understand that before you start taking shots at our beautiful beach and its residents you should know the contribution that the tourism provides. It is a fact that every New Hanover household saves about $197 in property taxes per year due to the tourism revenues. Please consider using spell check when you post.
