Public information meeting Thursday for Monkey Junction annexation

Residents wanting to know more about the proposed annexation of Monkey Junction will get their chance Thursday night. The City of Wilmington is holding a public information meeting, where city services will be explained and citizens can ask staff questions about specific city services one-on-one. This is not a public hearing. Anyone wishing to speak their minds on the subject can attend a public hearing April 7, 2009. Thursday’s meeting is at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall.
