Possible tornado in Bladen County

Saturday’s severe weather caused reports of a possible tornado touching down in Bladen County. Dispatchers said calls began coming in around 9:30 Saturday night. They reported downed power lines, tree limbs down, and some structural damage between Elizabethtown and Clarkton. According to the National Weather Service, four people were reportedly trapped under a stairwell on Twisted Hickory Road between Britt Road and North Mitchell Ford Road. Dispatchers said no injuries have been reported.
