I personally know someone who was arrested during this ridiculous operation. She is not a drug dealer, let alone a repeat dealer. Back in December a neighbor of hers asked if she knew where he could get some drugs and she took him to someone she new. On the way back into their neighborhood the cops pulled them over and arrested her. Apparently he had been arrested previously and set her up to reduce his sentence. She is currently going to court and working with lawyers on her case. She hasn't ever dealt drugs before or after this incident, yet somehow the Brunswick County Police Department decided to arrest her again yesterday to then turn around and let her out after posting $1200 non-refundable bail. Seems like BCPD is just looking for some quick fundraising to me. It’s hard enough to stay afloat during this economic crisis, the last thing some people need is for the police to be taking their money for no reason.
