CAMP LEJEUNE (AP) -- The Defense Department says a Camp Lejeune Marine has died from wounds received last month during combat in Iraq.
A news release says Lance Corporal Johnathan E. Kirk of Belhaven died Tuesday from wounds he received on April 23rd in Al Anbar province.
Kirk was assigned to Second Combat Engineer Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, Second Marine Expeditionary Force.
