It's a 'party' thing. Do the people of North Carolina want all their representatives to be Liberals? This means more governmemt control, higher taxes, and even more gov't hand-outs (deserved or not). On the state and local levels, Democrates are somewhat under control with the state and local governments 'balanced bugets' restraints. On the national level, with no budget restraints, the sky (or total bankruptcy) is the limit. So a Democrat let loose on the state and local level, is a different animal than a national Democrat. A national Democrat is one spending and taxing machine! Think carefully North Carolina about going total Spendocrat (my new term)......
