Sad

This is a terrible solution. Fire experienced educators for less experienced folks without credentials. I wonder why the teachers are not performing - how are assessments of teacher performance conducted? Anyone can go to greatschools.net and find out that test scores are often (not always- but often) tied to socio-ecominic status of the students. Putting less experienced teachers in the classrooms does not seem to be a smart idea. I have a feeling that this will not be implemented fairly to the schools - I bet the wealthier schools get less of these "recruits". I am glad that my children will not be subjects of this experiment and hope that the coastal counties do not follow suit.
