Capt'n Bill's event to fight Alzheimer's

How would you like to enjoy dinner, drinks, and music, while helping a good cause? You can do just that this weekend at Capt'n Bill's in Wilmington. The benefit will help the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. "Alzheimer's is a devastating disease that affects millions of people. It's the sixth leading cause of death in America, and there are almost 10 million unpaid Americans that take care of Alzheimer’s patients," said April Johnson. "A Sentimental Journey" is Saturday at 6:00 p.m. at Capt'n Bill's banquet facility on Market Street. It features a cocktail and music hour, photo exhibit, Calabash seafood dinner, a keynote speech and comedy show. Tickets are $25 a person or $40 per couple.
