Fire breaks out at South Brunswick High School

Firefighters spent Sunday night troubleshooting a boiler that misfired at South Brunswick High School. The boiler behind the school's cafeteria filled with fuel, causing the area to fill with smoke. The call came in around 6:45 Sunday night. Crews from around the area, including Southport, Winnabow and the Brunswick County Sheriff's Department responded. South Brunswick High School employees are now handling the clean up. According to Brunswick County Emergency Services, school will be in session as normal this morning. The fire did not damage the school.
