WWAY is going back to the good ole' days. Come Monday, we are bringing you an entirely new television station called RTV 3.2. Chris Phillips is giving way to Mr. T as our 24-7 Weather channel goes retro. Your favorite television shows from the past reside at RTV-Wilmington, along with our WWAY News each weeknight at 7:00 p.m. How can you watch The Beaver and Joe Friday on RTV-Wilmington? WWAY engineer, Ray Heath said, “The cable providers will carry it. We are using the channel that is currently what we call our 24-7 Weather Channel. It would be your 3.2 on your normal television. It varies depending on the cable system. Most cable systems are at 903. You have to have a digital television converter box or a digital television, digital ready TV, as you would need to pick up our primary channel currently.” Starting Monday, June 15th, something new, something classic - RTV 3.2.
