This week the recycling center at Murrayville Rd & College Rd. behind the Lowe's Foods was closed. According to the signs put up by the county, there had been problems with people misusing the containers, putting trash in them, etc. I've been going to that recycling center once or twice every week and the bins are always full of recyclables. Could the problem have been that bad that the county thought it was worth closing that location?? I don't think a few 'bad apples' should spoil the whole thing. I'm very disappointed and I know I won't be making two trips a week to Castle Hayne which is where the next nearest location is... Does anyone know if the county plans to reconsider this decision?
