But you choose to pay for your employees' healthcare to hold on to the best employees. If you suddenly tell an employee "you are going to have to fund your own healthcare since its affordable now", any smart person would start looking another job. I did. You will lose your good employees in the long run, which ultimately affects your profit. Why would I stay with you when another company is paying me the same amount but is providing me with health insurance. I wouldn't. Only a person uncapable of looking for another job would. It almost sounds to me like you are trying to find a way to keep from paying for your employees' healthcare and if that's the case, you are part of this countries' central underlying problem: greed. Competitiveness in everything is what will carry this country into the next century, not handouts, laziness, and a willingness to settle.
