Then consider how often you have to pay tens of thousands in income tax, year after year.
The trade-off would be well worth it. Especially when you consider the pre-bate to offset food purchases, based upon the number of people in the household.
The only people who wouldn't like the fair Tax are the worthless sponges who currently pay no taxes at all.
