This week's low score belongs to the Ruby Tuesday at Independence Mall in Wilmington.
A New Hanover County health inspector says food, including crab meat and chicken, were found at the wrong temperatures.
Five points off for employees working without sanitizer and several food containers, pots, pans, utensils, cutting boards, ice machine, plates, soda nozzle holders, slicers and bowls found dirty after cleaning.
The inspector also counted off for improper air drying, dirty equipment and dirty worker clothes stored with clean aprons.
A 77.5 for Ruby Tuesday.
To Lupita's Bakery on South Kerr Avenue, where an inspector found live roaches in the utensil washing and storing areas and dead roaches in the proofer and on shelves.
Points taken for beans on the stove not hot enough and for a bottle of pepto bismol stored next to the prep table.
Other violations include equipment that needs cleaning, worker drinks on prep table without lids and straws and improper food storage.
A score of 78 for Lupita's Bakery.
The KwikMart at 4100 Oleander Drive also has some cleaning to do, especially on food contact surfaces.
The staff also needs to make sure to keep garbage cans closed and label toxic materials.
The violations earn KwikMart an 85.5.
To Monkey Junction, where the Pitt Stop needs to replace a broken thermometer in the refrigerator.
The inspector also found mold and rust in the ice machine, and the countertops need detailed cleaning.
An 86 for Monkey Junction Pitt Stop.
And on the other side of town a low score for Texas Roadhouse.
The ice machine and soda nozzle holders need cleaning, as do dirty dishes that were stored as if they were clean.
There were also utensils and food particles in a sink reserved for hand washing.
It all adds up to an 86.5 for Texas Roadhouse.
