New Brunswick County parks on Town Creek

There will soon be a few more ways to get outdoors in Brunswick County. The county is getting several new parks after receiving over a half million dollars in grants from the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources. The money will help build canoe and kayaking ramps for the Brunswick Nature Park and the Whitlock Landing Access Site. The county's parks and recreation director says the parks will make Brunswick County an even better place to live. Construction will begin early in 2008.
