WWAY's John Rendleman, international students enjoy UNCW World Games

READ MORE: WWAY's John Rendleman, international students enjoy UNCW World Games
Life as a new UNCW student certainly has its fair share of challenges, especially if you are just learning the culture. Monday 35 international students participated in the first ever UNCW World Games. Wouldn't it be nice if you could have this much fun on campus every day? "There is some water involved in some of the events, so some of you might end up getting a little wet," Michael Regina warned participants in the first ever UNCW World Games. A little wet is a reference to the balloon toss. It was just one the events in the international relay. UNCW international students gave their best college try in the dizzy bat race, the toilet paper competition, and a sit on the chair to burst the balloon event; just to name a few. These events all have a purpose - to get the new Seahawk students acclimated to life at an American university. The Office of International Programs sponsored Monday's orientation session.
