UNC-Wilmington has made the list of 'military friendly' schools. The list is compiled each year by the magazine G.I. Jobs. It honors the top 15 percent of colleges and universities are "doing the most to embrace America's veterans as students." Among other things, UNCW recently amended its admissions policy for military students and waived its application fee for active military personnel. The school also has a new military relations website, www.uncw.edu/admissions/military.html.
