Brunswick County prepared to give flu shots

Although flu season is not typically until later in the year, the Brunswick County Health Department is ready to start giving flu shots on Tuesday. The vaccine available is the regular seasonal flu vaccine and it is available to anyone. The county will give shots for the H1N1 virus when that vaccine becomes available and only to people who qualify for the inoculation. For more information, or to make an appointment for either flu vaccine, call the Brunswick County Flu Line at 253-2344.
