Kitchen Cops 8/27/09

READ MORE:
The third time is the charm for a Wilmington eatery in this week's Kitchen Cops report, and health inspector found two high performers. Twice this summer Zora's Seafood Market and Kitchen on Castle Street made our low performers list with scores of 85 and a reinspection grade of 87.5 back in June. This time an inspector noticed some cold shrimp that was too warm and a non-functioning ice bin. Still a seven-point improvement off the low performers list with a score of 94.5. This week's highest score is good news to New Hanover High football fans. The concessions stands in Legion Stadium's north end, south end and east grandstand all earned perfect 100s. Toscana Café & Gourmet Market at the corner of College Road and South 17th Street in Wilmington lost a half point because the caulking around the dish sink needs cleaning and a leak on the sink needs to be fixed. 99.5 for Toscana.
