encouraging news. I know the objective of this story is to bring morale back up but have you ever thought that the reason the unemployment rates were on a "downtick" in August is because businesses have laid off so many employees that if they cut much more they will be unoperational and probably close their doors? They are operating their businesses with key personnel and nothing more. They aren't laying off any more and they sure are NOT hiring. So no, unemployment rate is not getting better or on a "downtick", it has just stabilized! Geesh!!
