Pier sounds fantastic for Carolina Beach. Considering to raise property taxes on the property owners when they can't even sell their property at tax value is sinful. Some owners tax bills multiplied by 4 (both my parents tax bills X4) plus with the increase in insurance & the water bill. Mayor & Counsel need to seriously consider the extreme burden they will place on the property owners during this economic downturn.
