Wilmington is one of the oldest settlements in the state (1739) and the historic buildings definitely need to be preserved. I'm still furious with Todd Taconis for demolishing the old wilmington Ice House (1830) in 2006 to build condos... and the lot is still vacant today! We should be preserving what we have left rather than letting the carpetbaggers buy, demolish, and sell our history.
