O.K. I will give you that. The down town area is a historical area. But, what shall we do with the buildings in need of repair? Shall we be like the West coast? Will you require that all owners bring the buildings up to modern standards? That has NOT worked well with other towns. On a lighter note; what has worked is working with a historical society to preserve a city's heritage. As long as the "Society" is willing to help or work with home/business owners.
