They view anything that is old as "historic." Absolutely nothing historic ever happened there, but by God, it's historic! The old police station stands as a premier example - totally useless and not the least bit "historic," but they didn't want it removed. (Too bad for them!) In this country we have always held private property rights sacred, and this "oh it's historic" nonsense is just another tool being used to deprive people of their property. (Only this way, they don't have to PAY for it!) I'm 100% behind WilmMAJ on this. Tell me that I can't tear down a building that I own and watch out. I'll have the bulldozer there in the morning.
