Wilmington's election said more about the voters themselves, than those that actually ran in the election. No, the election results did not indicate the citizens approve of Mayor Saffo's performance. No, it also did not indicate the voters disagreed with Paul Knight's platform. It was not even a response to the personal accusations. It WAS a statement from the voters: WE DO NOT CARE & WE WILL NOT EVEN BOTHER TO VOTE!
