Brunswick County is getting closer to changing its ordinances regarding dangerous dogs. Health director Don Yausey told the Brunswick Board of Health Monday night that attorneys are reviewing the language of the ordinance, attempting to work out the kinks. Yausey expects the new ordinances to be placed on the agenda of a county commission meeting in the near future. In a nutshell, Brunswick County is trying to employ a dangerous dog appeals system that would be similar to the one New Hanover County uses.
