The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a 17-year-old boy. Christopher Huffman is from Apex, but deputies said he withdrew money from a State Employees Credit Union branch in Wilmington Monday afternoon. The reason they have issued the silver alert is that Huffman suffers from dementia or some other mental disorder. He was last seen wearing a black and gray stripped sweater, jeans and tennis shoes. He was driving a black Jeep Liberty. Anyone with information should call local law enforcement or Apex Police.
