I hope the City includes a clawback provision on that $2k/day incentive for completing construction early. It would be nice to see the construction completed ahead of schedule, but not at the expense of public safety or quality of work. The city should be able to reclaim those funds should issues arise later down the line resulting from shortcuts taken by contractors during the construction to benefit from such an incentive.
