Members of the media helped raise money to feed the homeless Thursday night. Thunder Alley in Leland was the site for the first ever Media for Meals Crazy Bowling Tournament. Area media outlets all were doing their best to knock down pins while helping the fight against hunger. Thunder Alley GM Kevin Groves said, “This is all about trying to reach 57,000 people who are in need of meals all the time that we don't know about.” The event raised $1,200, all going to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
